Currently they only have IPv4, however the rollout of our dual stack network is underway and is expected to be completed by the end of this month. All existing VMs will receive a /128 to a /64 Allocation.

I would love to buy one, however routing outside Pakistan especially to Kazakhstan is routed via France.

We comply with Canadian and Pakistani regulations. Any legal requests are dealt with in accordance to the local regulations.

From what I know, neither Canadian nor Pakistani laws force you to respect dmca. Dmca (digital millennium copyright act) - section 512(c) is an American law and does not have to be respected in the rest of the world.

I understand you want to keep your service quality high or whatever, but following foreign laws because others do - is meh.

I personally expect my provider to follow local laws, and only them - I do not want to "research" what is allowed on said service, and what isn't. I use common sense and local criminal law as a bar.

I believe making "AUP" as minimal(in a sense of disallowed but legal activity) is a pro-consumer move and I wish more companies did that.
We are getting hit with insane restrictions from left and right, but that's not what internet was for.

@Virtury said: No. Exit/relays are not allowed.

The same applies here, Tor Relays/Guards/Middles do not generate any abuse reports and are perfectly legal, the only thing they do is consume a fair bit of bandwidth.
Tor Exits can generate abuse reports, but are still legal.
There is no country that disallows the usage of Tor, as crazy as it may sound considering all the censorship around the world.

Local laws may not force a provider to comply with DCMA but it is still taken notice upon in the same manner other abuse/misuse complaints are handled such as spam complaints (SH etc) that providers are not “legally” required to act upon but is necessary to keep a high quality of service, as you mentioned.

I agree, and would like to add that we are currently the most pro-consumer provider in Pakistan (there are a total of 3 other cloud service providers and none of them have instant activation. You have to go through a month long process just to get a VM and it’s limited to Pakistani businesses only and I won’t even get to the absurd cost of a VM with these providers and the limitations on them) The whole idea behind our approach is to be more pro-consumer.

We were undergoing an unavoidable maintenance partially caused due to our local upstream in Pakistan, which is completed now. Updates were sent via email.
Are you still unable to access your VM?
