each node will have 10gb port
but this is the only non ipmi port each node will have , so using it is not optional

Any idea of the power draw of this chassis with the 8 nodes powered on ?
too many factors for me to give a good answer. If you are serious about them my suggestion is usually to get a test machine
As Luke said, there are a lot of factors unique to each person's setup to consider that make estimating power usage hard.
With that said, we have some similar 8node machines in production, currently running x10srd-f/E5-1650v3/128GB DDR4/2x512GB SATA SSD on 30A/120v, so the power consumption is comparable to the devices Luke is selling.
Here is a screenshot of our node with the highest utilization currently.
So expect around ~200W utilization under high load per node, which is about 1.66A on 120V. If you're on 208v or 240v, the amperage would obviously decrease a bit.

Pretty cool info to share. I like seeing actual high-usage load numbers and comparing to rated TDP of CPU (I know, TDP != wall wattage). Seems pretty accurate in this case once accounting for 120v and misc system overhead/conversion losses.

Can you confirm there is IPMI available on the Integrated RJ45 Port ? And, is the 10G on Extra PCIe Adapter ?
Yes the 10G is on either AOC-CTG-I1S or MCX311A-XCAT(about half and half of the 180 systems)
