At the time this thread happened and I made a snapshot of BF thread, it had almost 31k, so we are still 9k comments shy 
I would be very happy if when this happens for you.
I would expect that the average comments per member will be higher in this thread than the BF thread. Now I have to go and check....

Here we have ~70% of comments, but only ~15% of users!

NY thread 93.34 average comments per member.
So the people who are here, on average, are more active than in the BF thread. Interesting.

I am almost interested to see the median... It could actually be less, because current top20 ends with 45, and BF had almost 200... Since I have the DBs (now I would like I had used MariaDB...) I could get the data... 
Even when I take out the top four posters from each thread this one still has more average comments per member.
BF thread 17351 /1333 = 13.01
NY thread 4768 / 222 = 21.47
That means, BF had way more "double bandwidth" users who ordered only one service
So probably many more sales for Dustin on BF than during this thread.
Well truly BF had more orders than any other promotions.
Everyone had spent their savings on BF
And to be honest, BF offers were a bit cheaper 
But of course, everyone is waiting for BF, everyone is expecting bigger discounts on BF. And having a sale after the big one is jusylt taking the last cents from savings
