No its not. About 50% usage sustained is alright. We have plenty of overhead on our nodes so you should be getting quite good performance :)

  • Are you still on Lightedge in the US? Looks to just be GTT, and Lightedge isn't listed in your upstreams anymore. Want to make sure before I buy, since I quite like Lightedge.

Yes we're in Lightedge and we use their transit there in addition to GTT :)

It looks to be just GTT (your looking glass subnet) and you don't have Lightedge listed as an upstream. Just making sure since GTT basically takes me around the planet routing wise, and your post still lists Lagos as existing, so it might just be old info? Sorry for all the questions!

They appear to have Lightedge IPv6 peer though. But I doubt it changes anything in this case.

edit: they are present on Lightedge network on their Kansas Loc https://www.peeringdb.com/fac/4548

  • NO: https://terrahost.com/configuration/4698

    What's NO and what's KC?

The reason why I ask is because your order page says Kansas City for the NO order link and well... I don't know.

That just means they're in the facility, not actually present on the network. Peeringdb is just used to list IX presence and which facilities they're in, for peering purposes (hence the name). For example, here's One Wilshire https://www.peeringdb.com/fac/19

Its a bug on their site, it shows Norway on their norwegian site.
links work properly and you should receive the product you want.

Do you have some more NVMe SSD Overhead too? 20GB is very manageable.
its like a porsche gt3 (Ryzen 5950X) with an 8 liter tank (20GB NVMe SSD).

We definitely have lightedge, but GTT is for the most part preferred.

everything goes over GTT, so I don't think so. Also the IP is from AFRINIC which is cool, don't see that too much. Really nice VM overall though, so I don't really care anymore.

Of all the 900.000+ routes, we prefer Lightedge for about 14.000 of those. Try reaching something in their upstreams networks :) Zayo for instance.

Just tried to Zayo directly, still goes over GTT.

so I'm a little confused. VPS is fantastic regardless, I think I'll probably drop this topic since I feel like I'm being detrimental to your offer thread, and you're one of my favorite providers here by far.

    Hello,

We send you all the best routes we got :) If a route from an IXP is favorable we will give you that. And if we lose the IX connection it reconverges.

  • Possible to add another 20 GB of storage?

  • @terrahost would love to pick one, but 20GB is just too low for the price.
    Even though it's Ryzen.

    At least 10GB more needed.

I agree. Package has been upgraded. Anyone that ordered with 20GB only can reach out for a free upgrade.
