    @amiss of course on the other hand I have had a creed that has served me well ...
    Shoot for perfection and be happy with a little less than being perfect.
    Maybe this is just because my wife is perfect and I have a hard time keeping up to her that I say this, but it has worked for me.

    I have found myself to be much much happer accepting things for as they are, of course going for improvements when possible and reasonable, but focusing on what I do have as opposed to worrying about what I don't have or can't do.
