I use my RackNerd 4GB flash special from a couple of years ago in LAX DC2 to host one of my inbound only email servers and a gDNSd DNS server.

    Does it have IPv6?

of course DC2 is with Multacom so native IPv6 is available. All my servers are dual stack IPv4/IPv6 just because I am a masochist.

Do we need to request IPv6 separately? I have one sever at la-dc2 but not seeing IPv6 under network settings

Curious to know how will it end for jmax! will he be able to get his hands on ipv6 only the tale will tell!

I am predicting that he will have no problem get the IPv6 in RackNerd DC02.

    let's see

Hold on, this would be a perfect time to test Racknerd ticket response time

    yes it would

Well i will try finding you some anti-aging solutions if i can, btw are we talking about the movie?

Speaking of RackNerd customer service... I recently got an email from Anthony the Customer Success Manager at RackNerd asking for suggestions on what they could do to improve the service. It was the first time in all my years of using IT data services that I had zero suggestions. I always have something to say, but that email left me speechless.

  • @TrK said: Well i only contacted them last around an year ago.

Although I know it is not a popular thing to say, I give a lot of the credit for uptime to the DC staff at the CC locations. I may be wrong but I think that Colo Crossing staff handles all the maintenance and repairs of servers for RackNerd. Their doing such a good job of this reduces the ticket load on the RackNerd staff and helps to make them so fast. It seems to be a team effort that makes things work out so well. I think this also goes for their other DC partners like Multacom and whoever they use for their shared/reseller hosting.

  • Did you know... Dead skin cells are a main ingredient in household dust

Here’s an interesting science fact for you: According to researchers at Imperial College London, humans shed around 200 million skin cells each hour—and they have to go somewhere when we’re indoors. If the idea of skin dust isn’t sitting well with you, you should know that a report from the American Chemical Society found that a skin oil called squalene naturally helps reduce indoor ozone levels by up to 15 percent.

To see this tiny bat for yourself, you’d have to visit one of a select few limestone caves on the Khwae Noi River in Kanchanaburi Province of southwest Thailand.

  • Did you know...The circulatory system is more than 60,000 miles long

If a child’s entire circulatory system—we’re talking veins, arteries, and capillaries—were laid out flat, it would stretch for more than 60,000 miles, according to the Franklin Institute. By the time we reach adulthood, our bodies have become home to approximately 100,000 miles of blood vessels.

It was a political satire called El Apóstol made up of 58,000 drawings and had a running time of 70 minutes, according to the Guinness Book of World Records.
