    Windows VPS giveaway

what would you run on it?

    Virtual desktop what else!

    "Desktop as a service"
    but latency sucks

Whats the typical ping from India to US east and west?

    250+ average

    Well, that's a lot.

    Yes Amsterdam is the savior.

    Why not one from India?

not cheap and these days government is trying to catch up with china in terms of surveillance and censorship.

Lol, I think that might be the future of the internet. The Internet is monitored by every government.

just get yourself a warp!

What if that itself is a surveillance tool funded by governments across the world

then just get yourself a wg instance.

Yes that is always an option

That is the second last option.

Ok is there a third ?

I have a last option wanna hear?

    Tell us your last option?

Just head over to mountains and live a life of hermit.

With things like starlink, lots of temptations to fight off

Personal DNS server and block all bad contents.

    Any suggestions ?

    Adguard with unbound

I assume you trust Adguard then, but why adguard isn't a tracking tool?

my dns queries is going through my adguard instance to my unbound, and i can always block anything which seems like collecting data.

I see you tried, nearly perfect.

How can i make that perfect?

Maybe make your own network adapter, to make sure no malware burned on the hardware.

    Any suggestions ?

    Adguard with unbound

I assume you trust Adguard then, but why adguard isn't a tracking tool?

my dns queries is going through my adguard instance to my unbound, and i can always block anything which seems like collecting data.

    Any shocking discoveries?

Yeah there is a web trace for calling wpads script but somehow it ends up routing to one of domains i own.

You said you are monitoring us.

Nah i don't do i am privacy friendly and don't track anything unless someone force me to. but i do track my friend who is really bad with directions.

Now we have the "I have a friend" series.

    Lol 🤣🤣

True that. Runs background tasks all the time.

    The collecting services

    Adguard to the rescue!

Personal DNS server and block all bad contents.

    Any suggestions ?

I see you tried, nearly perfect.

How can i make that perfect?

Maybe make your own network adapter, to make sure no malware burned on the hardware.

I am using tomato thinking of migrating it to openwrt or ddwrt.

I heard openwrt is better than ddwrt

    Try checking asuswrt

I tried ddwrt before, it's website sucks, you have to check the forum and posts to find a stable and up-to-date firmware

I know the struggles and especially the new builds aren't doing good but crashing.

That shit is costly, and i don't trust eloan.

    Future looks awesome

The sky covered with satellites and we lost the view of beautiful stars.

I say wire is good, reliable

Wire is great maybe not so convenient
