recovering data from an ext4 formatted 5tb drive.

I have a 5tb usb drive used for media, a few days ago i was getting IO errors and Openmediavault reports the drive as having bad sectors. I unmounted the drive and unplugged it for the last few days.

The drive is about half full at the moment, and I have purchased a new 5tb drive. Ive seen guides for recovering on windows, but as the drive is ext4 that ain't gonna work.

Does anyone have any advice on how to recover the data on the drive, even if it's not a full recovery? Also if possible with a GUI, but if terminal is the only option then that'll be better than nothing.
