These two vpses are of different Linux distributions, despite all the differences, their "total score" is similar
And sometimes compiling job on the ryzen one is still faster than the e5 one, but other times the e5 one wins due to more ram,

The first thing after deploying anything for me is to change to light theme... Or am I just too old to understand the new trend?..

No, I also like light theme, so not all everyone.
Clearly someone like the darkness, while we like the light.
Light themes are fine too. But they are painful to the eyes at night in a dark room when watching on a large screen.
Instead of that 512 MB KVM offer, 768MB KVM offer from BF might be more attractive. Because the price difference is just $0.10
But at daytime light themes are the best especially if the surrounding environment is highly bright. Dark themes make it barely watchable. My personal preference are adaptive themes.
