Looking for cheap servers with unlimited traffic

Hello!
Any advice for a server that has something similar to the following specs?

I need minimum 4 cores, but 8 will be much better
I will be comfortable with 8GB of RAM.
Need 1GB (or better) bandwidth with unlimited bandwidth (about 200TB per month)
Location - Europe
The budget is about 30$ per month

  • Fastpipe is interesting, thanks. But CPU frequency is quite low, isn't it?
Oneprovider also good. Looking for config with E3-1220. Any recommendations?

Fastpipe's CPU performance is quite bad, but you can usually hit 2 Gbps or so. OneProvider is fine, but some of their servers are misleading, some of their offerings are permanently capped to 250 Mbps / 500 Mbps even though it says 1 Gbps on the order page.

30€ and 200TB traffic ... Good luck not getting swatted for abuse :)
That bandwidth costs multiples more, just saying ...

Beware, Online (resold through Oneprov) may enforce speed capping if pushing excessive bandwidth. 200TB/mth is constant ~620Mbps, not sure if that would trigger detection... (not to mention if that speed is within reach, depending on location - their network sucks a bit)

Was on Hetzner with Ryzen 3600 for about a year, with no problems)
Now because of some problems with PayPal can't pay and looking for another

They definitively would, but i also think they might have per rack limits. Before they suddenly shutdown all our customer's dedis they routinely capped to 100Mbps just for microbursts over ~150Mbps. Well, ok microbursts in this instance was just enough to be visible on the graph, so 5minute average of 150Mbps.

But yeah, without notification they shutdown hundreds of our customer dedis. ZERO notification. Why? We complained that they force "upgraded" our nodes to something which offered lower specs, costs more and they knew they were all broken! with just 1-2MiB/s I/O throughput to the HDDs.

Lucky you :) Probably they had enough spare transit capacity that they did not care at the time

Oh, thanks for the warning! CPU is the most important for me. Will try OneProvider with E3 1220

  • It's a bit over your budget, but the best recommendation I can think of is Mevspace.

There are Hetzner resellers that may offer you this server with other payment options.
