Yes, it is. Email marketing is unsolicited, and therefore spam.
60 to 70 user registration daily on my 2 website. but when i sent some email notification at these Emails ids, many of get bounce. i do not know how they register because confirmation link always sent in particular email address. that is only reason for checking these mail ids.
At MailChimp warn for high bounce.
Use email verification.
try MailChick or MailCum
Use a 2 stage auth, enter e-mail then send a unique link to confirm signup.
