We did it, page 955 now.
I think the pool for the raffle ends Dec 2, newly commented are not counted.
Yeah, Dustin made a post about it earlier. I'm interested to see who won
Do you think it will happen in 3 hours? Or do we have to wait for another 27?
I don't think the winners will be announced at exactly 12 AM, maybe some time in the afternoon.
And, are you replying through some script, or Discord, or something?
Replying through Discord
Oh, then I can go to bed with a peaceful mind, thanks, that's great.
Even if the winners were announced when you were sleeping, the results will still be here when you wake up
Yes, I found your reply never cover previous quotes, those messages must be left behind because you use other platforms.
I'd rather watch them coming out than enjoy the joy after others.
In my code, I purposefully removed the previous quotes. I was thinking about adding 2nd or 3rd layer quotes, but never really gotten around to changing it haha
Yeah, makes sense. I'll be sure to tag you when the results come out!
Yes, I am not good at javascript or HTML, and I think they are so difficult to accomplish.
Thank you so much, you are so so kind.
It will comrle! Dustin will reach 955 with "bandwidth has been doubled" posts
Which languages do you know?
Just trying to help each other out
Ah yes yes
We reached it by just chatting with each other
Dustin will tag anyway
Only if you win lol
C/C++, Python.
I don't use other languages often, need some time to check the doc.
Well, what if I don't win? There's a bit over a 90% chance that I don't win anything from the prize pool haha
Before I learned JavaScript, I knew quite a bit of Python and a little C++ (from messing around with Arduino stuff). IMO, going to JavaScript (more specifically node.js) from Python isn't that far of a jump, and once you get used to it it's easy to switch between the two as both of them are relatively easy languages to understand.
Yes, and I think I will check frequently tomorrow.
Haha, me too!
I have focused on backend programming for too long
found Java very difficult for me to learn, and don't want to learn anything, maybe I am just too old to study anything.
It's pretty easy (and fun, for me at least lol) to make backend APIs and such in node.js. Express.js is a great place to start, it's very similar to python's flask/quart!
Lol, maybe. I just think JavaScript, Java, Typescript, and those sort of things, are really slow and redundant, lack architecture, and are difficult to arrange.
C++ is much more beautiful, efficient, and clear.
I need to learn front-end and change my mind, just need some projects to force me.
