Uhhh… they stay online, some sentient AI in a lab in Antarctica escapes its cage and takes over all the servers and preserves the knowledge of how to destroy humanity again

LET servers are so resilient, I wouldn’t be surprised if that happened haha

Just for fun, but sometimes it is useful to have a server for different location for testing purposes. :)

    1. The wife prefers cPanel and I have used RackNerd for her cPanel hosting for a little more then a year. This was a free give away last year, and thanks to all of you and Dustin it is free again this year, but bigger and at closer location to us.
I like the RackNerd shared hosting for more reasons then just because it was free. I have lifetime DA shared hosting accounts with three other providers in Amsterdam, Los Angeles, and Singapore at which I mirror some of her static sites. (I geo-locate the user to the closest location, with auto failover) IMO They are just no where near as reliable or fast as the RackNerd shared hosting. When I need to pay for the cPanel hosting at RackNerd next year I will happily do so.

    Words of wisdom...
A happy wife means a happy life.

We sincerely appreciate your business @FrankZ :) Happy to hear that our shared hosting and VPS services are working well for your needs. We'll be here if you ever need anything.

    1. Great customer service. I really try to keep my tickets with any of my low end providers to the very minimum, because I understand that more tickets means more overhead. That said, the couple of times that I have dealt with RackNerd customer service the response time and resolution outcome were both excellent. Although I have a couple of providers that have equally good customer service, I can't think of any that are better, and most are far worse. RackNerd customer service deserves the Kudos they get, and more.

Customer service at RackNerd seems to go by these words of wisdom...
The secret to success is to treat all customers as if your world revolves around them.

@FrankZ -- Thank You so much for recognizing this, and we find those words of wisdom to be quite true ;) We're all human (and no human is perfect!), but our team is highly passionate about what they do, and that shows. The good news is that we were able to maintain our same quality level of customer support that our customers have come to expect of us, even throughout the most busiest sales event (Black Friday 2022) and despite hitting new all-time highs across multiple volumes including ticket volume. We are continuing to grow/expand our team and will continue to provide our customers with the 24x7 availability we are known for :)

If we ever fall short of your expectations, or if you have any feedback down the road, I'm always happy to help - [email protected]

Thank You again for your business and for sharing your experience with our support team. I will pass along your positive words to our team as well.

    1. The best high quality swag.
You might remember that @dustinc said he was going to send me some swag earlier in this thread. Because I live in Mexico I had it sent to a friend of mine in the US who is coming down to see me soon. Well, he just sent me a photo of the swag and it seems that I hit the jackpot. Thank you Dustin this was more then I ever expected. I will post more photos after it actually arrives here. My friend is already asking for the hat, because it has such a great stretchy headband and looks so good.

Thank You for sharing this picture @FrankZ -- looks great :) We've all been there and done that with company swag that just sits there collecting dust -- we strive for our swag to do the opposite (we want our swag to actually be put to good use). All of our swag is of excellent quality, and designed to actually be used in an everyday scenario. I am confident that you will really enjoy them, when it makes it down to you!

Yabs for the Ryzen VPS. These Ryzens are so fast... it's like having 2.5 to 3 X of the 'normal' E2XX intel CPUs

By the way, we were discussing here possibilities to automatically post interesting facts. Would it be considered some rules violation or not? :) Lets say, a post every 5 minutes or so. :) I think the amount would not exceed "words of wisdom" amount, so I guess its not a spam, but can it be automated? :D
