Best Managed Hosting?

Who has the easiest platform for VPS hosting? Do they ever have deals?

Easily managed VPS is going to be expensive. Something like DreamHost who deploys their own stack on the VPS, or classic shared hosting companies that deploy cPanel on it as part of the bundled cost, things like that will be easiest. But they are almost always underpowered, overpriced, and nicely tuned to make you want to upgrade again soon (like HostGator not enabling swap on VZ containers to increase OOM issues and push upgrades).

If you don't want to manage the Linux system yourself, I'd focus on finding a high end shared host instead.

Easy is relative to what you consider easy, a thing which is easy for you may not be easy for others.

But @jar already handled nicely. I think mid-tier provider like DO, Vultr provide most of the easiest way to deploy hosting. Then also LET providers with fixed vps plan are easy, choose, pay and you have your login to use it. And many of them provide managed services as addon.

This thread's title and actual question is not sync.

Darn... I'm using Linode and Digital Ocean, which is hard to use and expensive compared to some of the deals here.

What do you mean? Does this post belong in a different category?

If you're not using any of their additional services like block storage, object storage, snapshots, things like that then it'll be a fairly 1:1 management experience with any VPS provider here.

"Managed" means you pay a provider to handle the server and you just tell them what you want and pay them for their time and service. This costs significantly more than just paying them to host your server and you handle the operation of it.

It sounds like you want a super simple Control Panel. But without saying what features you want or what your biggest issues are, you're not going to get very good replies.

Managed VPS comes with any hosting control panel like cPanel / DirectAdmin.
You can host your websites using these control panels and hosting provider take care your VPS.

  • in little vps is easiest, mostly no need tuning
if you are grow and start having trouble, so you need to start thinking about managed services, instead of wasting time to improve your skills

  • plesk always free (3 domain) on amazon, vultr and others, ... worth a try

  • probably the most expensive but very good - fastcomet
