Will @MannDude and @Jord increase VPS prices accordingly?

Nah. Since we're not a budget provider we can absorb costs like this without passing it onto the customer. Our pricing with Worldstream is still great.

Edit: our dedi customers may need adjusted... we use our own AS and IP space with their hardware. A 10% increase on that with fluctuations in USD to EUR value may make it difficult to NOT do something... but we'll see. Nothing decided on that yet.

Its relative, probably also including power supplier as thats the main factor along with high IPv4 pricing.

  • I will be cancelling my dedicated server with worldstream next month. I am glad I found a replacement during the BF.

To what provider did you move if I may ask.

Electricity is more expensive, bandwidth is more expensive, ip's are more expensive, rackspace is more expensive, hardware is more expensive, staff to run and maintain everything is more expensive.
Can you seriously not understand why providers have to raise their prices?
