I understand but my ticket is not related to vps deployment, it's related to an extra server I ordered firstly if the Double bandwidth offer is not applicable on it I just requested to cancel that particular server ordered in UK Coventry.

They are saying 48hrs refund period that is why I asked.

I can wait for 72 hrs but they can surely leave a reply in the ticket, that will not take much time. :)

  • Don't know if am late to the party or not. Would like the double bandwidth offer, if its still applicable.

We can extend the refund period if you want, we are pretty lenient and not really strict on it because of the ticket delays and such.

Anyone ordered during BF and still waiting on activation??

You need to win chess 6 rounds in a row for the server to be activated.

Thanks for your reply, can you just check the ticket once if the double bandwitdh offer is not applicable in the UK Coventry server then you can refund.

I can understand you may be having tight schedule currently, just request you to reply me in ticket once you get the time.

    Thanks.

Double bandwidth and unmetered bandwidth requests should be processed by tomorrow, super sorry for the delay. I've just been really busy, especially in preparation for Black Friday.

@Advin, I'm curious if you managed to process the requests? If you did, it seems my request was missed :/

  • Forget Advin. Forget what I have said in past. Partners VPS has been down for about a day and Advin will not respond to tickets. Just money in the wind and I advise to proceed with caution if going to use in any business.

Please note that you are on our KVM Beta High Memory lineup of VPS, which does not come with any uptime SLA or guarantees. That being said, I can issue you with a week of additional credit if you would like, but we're currently working on resolving issues with your host node.

  • Question to @advin regarding advertised specs. Does 20GB mean 20GiB (1024^3) or 20GB (1000^3)? I've only bought from 3-4 providers over the years and its always been GiB.

  • I'm getting the gist that ADVIN servers is a bit overwhelmed with BF sales... Just like everyone else, will take some time to catch up.

Just playing with my "High Memory Beta VPS" and it's pretty good so far. In a nutshell:

    • Initially there was no IPv4 and a reboot loop at first. Both were resolved quickly.
    • I asked for a specific ISO. Checked again today and they added dozens of install ISOs to choose from. Also solved.
    • Install from ISO worked well and was fast.
    • Network worked as-is with MTU set to "automatic". No additional settings needed.
    • Control panel is clean, but has many features. Also, no extra CP for billing and managing the server.

All in all I'm happy with the VPS. I'll only need it for testing every other week. So uptime isn't critical. Thanks to @Advin for abusing inviting us to the beta test. 😄 I see some potential there.

    4GB $6/year recurring

I'm quite certain that if I post a service transfer for $12 on the last week of the service period, there would still be takers.

Good for ya. I ended up winning the first time. But it was too late. I was damn hell bent on beating the computer.

Next time, I lost in 4 moves, alas it was still not fast to grab one. Until then folks had figured out a hack to check the page source and figure out...

O well. This was a hell of a deal for 6 bucks by @Advin
