Thoughts on BitTorrent Sync

Since it's had a little time to mature, do any of you use BT Sync on your boxes? I'm still pretty weary of it considering multiple things, like it A) not being open source and B) [and, put on your tin hats for this one] some government agency collecting/analyzing the traffic (assuming they are able to break the encryption or with the help of back doors). I realize other data replication solutions are also susceptible to decryption but there's pretty much a 0% chance of a back door if whatever you are using is open source.

Only reason I bring this up is because on the BT blog, there are a few interesting articles on using Sync for server-related projects (they call them Sync Hacks). There super interesting but I'm just really not liking the closed source stuff.
