It depends on what users want really, for someone the 1.5GB 6 months ryzen VPS could be more usefull than a 512MB RAM for example. I wouldn't mind getting only a CPU core also, because currently my VM only has 1 available. Just making a statement, that I am ready to trade

That's no doubt. But it depends, on how long you plan to keep the VM, and how long you NEED the VM. And also, you need to already have one for resource upgrade, otherwise it is completely useless.

No, it is not Python, it is Java Spring Boot with some dirty workarounds that I would not like to share
It is not 100% production quality 
It was developed as PoC and it runs quite nice

Its not too much really, an hour of work should be enough to replace everything that would have to be replaced. And maybe another hour or two of work to remove all workarounds and to make the code closer to production ready - real world example, than PoC style application
