Is 1 Ryzen vCPU cores better than 3 regular vCPU cores?

It depends. If your task can be split up into multiple processes, then 3 regular vCores should be faster than a singular Ryzen vCore (for GB5 benchmark, it's like comparing the multithreaded performance of 3 vCores compared to the single core performance of 1 vCore).
If you cannot multithread your task, then a singular core would be better for your needs.

ok so on these low spec servers, what are the use cases of a ryzen compared to non ryzen?

Ryzen servers are faster than non-Ryzen servers, so if you need to do anything that's more CPU intensive then Ryzen servers would be a better fit. It all depends on your needs :)

    yes i know that
    looking for specific examples

Hmm, maybe processing large amounts of data? My analyzer script takes 100% CPU on a single thread, so it would be useful to have faster cores.

And you guys spammed so much

    proudly

Let me join you, wait for me.
