  • Is the HostHatch also 10Gbps? I feel it makes Greencloud an easy choice otherwise

  • Greencloud if you dont need the private networking and storage.

  • reserved

  • Could we answer this after 1 year?

    Would prefer the GreenCloud

  • GreendCloud for sure, not only the product but much better support.

  • pepega question. You have HH one for 2 years already then? and GC?

So you should know best what has better reliability. I'd stick with whatever is more reliable

HH has pretty reliable. It is the support which is a YMMV which concerns me

  • Greencloud has much better support.

HostHatch has private networking, a routed /64 range, and guaranteed dedicated CPU (whereas Greencloud is fair share).

If the HostHatch deal is their newer AMD EPYC equipment, I'd go with HostHatch. Otherwise, I'd go with Greencloud.

  • HostHatch 2022 BF
2 CPU cores (50% dedicated, burstable up to 200%)
    8 GB RAM
    30 GB NVMe storage
    3 TB bandwidth
    $35 per year, $60 per 2 years
(doubled storage and bandwidth for two year payments)

    HostHatch 2020 BF
2 CPU core (50% dedicated, burstable up to 200%)
    8 GB RAM
    40 GB RAID-10 NVMe
5 TB bandwidth (1 TB in Hong Kong and Sydney)
    $30 per year

so, for biennial payment, 2022 ver should be more preferable to 2020 ver, hd being bigger by 10g and bandwidth larger by 1TB

    Which Location is hosthatch?

  • Value for money, Performance and uptime wise both of them are good. But, in customer support area, GreenCloudVps beats HostHatch with a huge margin!

  • Take them both if money enough

  • Greencloud vps has better reputation than the hosthatch here. Plus the server config looks good

That is my opinion after using them both for more than 12 months.
I do not recommend HostHatch and Greencloud. Both are at least when you buy the deals not recommended for production systems. But you can try and find out yourself the hard way that paying low is not always the best idea. They are good for learning and playing and maybe for projects where there is no issue when the virtual machine has an unexpected outage.

0/10. Support your argument with evidence.

sure, how much are you paying for with whom?

  • For performance, Hosthatch.
For support, Greencloudvps, I would suggest EPYC ones. The E5 ones I have tried 9999 and their geekbench scores were poor. Not sure if improved, but I ended up transferring it.
With hosthatch, it still performs like day 1 even after a year.
