My home speed is 500mbps and I happy with that.

We only get 250 down 10 up, but in reality I only get 80 down 10 up

    10 up for me too.

    ISPs are annoying

Yeah, everytime I want to upload large file, has to leave the pc all night

NASA’s internet speed is 91 GB per second.

The average household internet speeds are roughly 25 MB per second.

That’s usually fast enough to watch Netflix with no buffer time

And let’s face the fact, if there’s any tech company that would actually make good use of them internet speeds, it’s NASA.

I was able to reach 28,000Mbps on a server once haha

    how? wow

    Just fast connectivity :)

    never seen

I just had to hunt and go through many, many different providers to find the one with the best connection haha

max i have seen a provider is 10gbit

10g is pretty common, but 40g up and down is really hard to find. Linode offers 40g down but only up to 12 up, which is unfortunate

woah! thanks for knowledge didn't know of any service providing that much speed!

  • but still a static website and low traffic website won't need more then 10mbps xd

10 megabits, sometimes my videos are around 2 gigabytes so 30 minutes for only 2 gigabytes.

My 80Mbps is fine for most things, but the worst part about my ISP is they only allow 1TB bandwidth, so during the summer when everyone’s watching something on their devices we get really close to the limit, and we don’t want to pay for extra bandwidth since it’s really expensive

I mean the 1gbps up. the 1gbps down is costly, but you need to pay much more than that to have high upload

And they limit at 1tb too. so if you want to use more, then pay extra.
