iPhones were almost in the shape of an apple.

The original design for an iPhone was in the shape of a literal apple.

It was initially designed as a flip phone with a push keypad. When closed, it looked like the Apple logo.

How exactly did apple get obsessed with the word i ?

Ooh, lemme do a bit of research!

The “i” in Apple products stands for internet, added by Steve Jobs in 1998.

    iSee

MacBooks be like: are we a joke to you?

Oh yeah I did, I found at best 10 extra minutes of battery but performance was arguably worse as there were some graphics driver incompatibilities, it was feeling really slow and sluggish. I’ll just stick to PopOS for now

  • Comic Sans is the most hated font in the world.

Comic Sans was designed to be an unserious, handwritten style font to use in comic books.

Although everyone loves to hate on this tasteless font (including myself!) it is actually very useful for dyslexic people.

Because of its asymmetrical style, the letters are much easier to discern.

Technically Apple doesn’t have a trillion dollars in the bank, their stocks and dividends have a market cap of over $1 trillion but if everyone were to cash out, it would go much much lower

That reminds me, there was an Indian company that announced mango brand phones claiming their mPhones lineup would compete with iPhones. Ironically the owners got arrested on the day of launch for committing financial fraud.

I’ve never heard of mPhones, I’ll look into it later haha

It died on the day of launch itself so

Ah, still an interesting story nonetheless!
