    curl won't work as its hosted in cloudflare.
    implemented caching on database results as this was large data.
    everytime i feed it data caching is cleared and repopulated with fresh data.

    I created a private LET <=> discord channel link so that I can get notifications and view messages here (and reply to them, like I'm doing right now), it also has a cache of comment count and other useful stats. The script auto fetches the latest page every 20 seconds, which was my auto refresh interval previously so there should be no additional load to LET's servers compared to when I had LET open on my side monitor auto refreshing constantly. It's pretty nice to have push notifications, I wonder if something can be added to Vanilla so I don't have to fetch the json of the latest page every 20 seconds for notifications. Not sure how hard it is to make Vanilla plugins though

    What are you using to fetch the JSON of the page?

    @unfortunately mentioned this a few days ago, if you add .json to the end of the URL eg. lowendtalk.com/discussion/blah-blah-blah-blah/p442.json, it returns the comments in JSON format instead of HTML.

    Yes, I saw when he said that, and that you could also do XML. What I mean is how are you fetching the pages without being blocked by Cloudflare?

    LET didn't enable anti botting - if they did, I would be blocked pretty quickly and auto refreshers would get hit by a captcha pretty often.
