Where are those old unmetered traffic on dedicated servers?

Apparently at https://dedipath.com/fall-sale, someone pointed it out after I’d already bought a dedi from here. I’m a little salty about it, newer cpu and unlim bw for $1 less in LA, would’ve grabbed that instead.

Same, took several hours for support to check and recreate a new VPS that works. Poor first impression.

Not the best first impression, my dedi was delivered fast but was missing the control panel section entirely, so I couldn’t install an OS. My initial activation email was missing IPMI login and immediately got a ticket after where they included it, also. It took about 12 hours to resolve the no control panel ticket, so that’s not bad at least, but it feels like whoever is doing the setup is rushing through these.

Please pm me your ticket id so I can check into this. I can confirm we are quite busy due to the sale so there may be a bit longer resolution time than normal.

    This is resolved.

Honestly I just submitted a cancellation request for it, I'm going to pass on this, I'll eat the $40. It was an impulse purchase and I've honestly lost the motivation to go through tickets to get it set up, gonna take it as my sign that I don't really need another server.

Now the fall sale page is 404. I feel like this BF deal is just a scam hahaha, these deals are worse than normal season sales. How could this be BF?

WE NEED THOSE UNMETERED TRAFFIC BACK!!! And also a CPU upgrade

  • Ordered a KVM Ryzen NVME server but I cannot connect (shows offline on panel, tried starting it manually as well) and ticket still not resolved (#531221).

Always had a fantastic experience with DediPath so hopefully this is resolved quick!

Hi guys, this is my first reply.
I purchased 1GB RAM SSD OpenVZ VPS with 100GB of disk space configured (originally 30GB) due to a setup error. However, due to severe packet loss and abnormal network speed, it is almost unusable. So I submitted a ticket in the hope that it would solve the network problem. Eventually I watched them change my IP, but it still didn't work. Finally I moved to another node and the packet loss problem was solved, but at the same time the 100GB disk space was restored to 30GB. So I searched for similar cases and finally saw in the Chinese forum(Hostloc) that many people had bought the wrong configuration. Even someone with 100GB was corrected back to 30GB, and then customer service gave in to keep his 100GB. Maybe it's because my nationality is not Chinese, but with this unpleasantness, I shouldn't use DediPath again in the future.

    1. If you have a Hostloc account, you can also share my comment.
    2. If you are DC04R05SRV48 node, you can also see if there is a packet loss problem.
    3. If you really want to buy, it is recommended that you do not buy Los Angeles.
    4. They are very quick to respond to tickets, which is their advantage, just not necessarily fair to everyone.

We have added several additional configurations to our Black Friday sales. We are nearly sold out of most plans.

  • I ordered one VPS additional in Florida. It is looking very good. Thank you dedipath!

I have an old Virmach vps and the ip belongs to dedipath, I don't remember how it appeared before.

    Is Virmach your customer?

Sorry to deviate from the topic, but I don't think it would be interesting for me to create a topic just for this.

  • Great offers! Thanks for sharing.

You should check Virmach's 'Network page' (Virmach's website -> datacenters -> network). I think, They are use partly the same DC's. After their summer time IP changes I got an IP too from these range too for one of my old VPS (like You). :)

PS: sorry for the not topic related content!

@Ernie my apologies Boss, but CPU performance is quite poor on Ryzen CPU (like weaker E5... i expected a much more from it / ~ 2x more, around 1000-1100 on single thread...), seriously it could be improved, bcs it is LOW

Same feeling here - rushed, problematic setup, plus old hardware. Took a back-and-forth ticket exchange to get IPMI login info, and found a very old/outdated IPMI that I'm about to give up on.

    1) I have dedicated server by them longer time: It works absolutely great, network is also excellent, ZERO ISSUE entire time till today. (IPMI works also fine, but maybe your one was some exception)

    2) When i opened ticket support were always fast, very friendly and willing

So i definitely can recommend (based on own experinces) Dedipath as very good and honest server provider, satisfied customer
(too i feed there longer time 15 VPSes and this is my first issue ever, where VPS CPU i asked to improve)

  • Update: Ernie is very willing person (and honest provider): We on the end agreed on suitable dedicated server for me, based on my needs. His dealing and approach were again very friendly and willing, as every time before (when i needed something). I appreciate his approach, good provider that I can only recommend
