    Hello, thanks for your response

Resumm & update after ~12 hours:

    • VPS not working
    • regarding host node is ever/even not listed in this outages or maintenances list (on status page you mentioned)
    • no reply from support till now too

probably another Rsync job instead Sunday for me, nevermind

make your own opinion on this..

I had the same problem with them about one year ago. The VPS was unreachable for more than 72 hours. Their support didn't even reply to me during the time period. When my VPS gets offline, I did a backup of the data and switched the provider.

I had data from BAK too, but "i love" moving still somethng somewhere elsewhere of course (very good & useful spent time and users are also happy from changed Ips etc..)

VPS is now back online and i have fixed broken things, orphaned files etc.. (means all in this moment again working)

But regarding to (not good) circumstances how this entire went, i too decide now what u have mentioned above too.

What SLA and guarantued response times did you book, when you made the decision to host your mission critical stuff there?

What did you learn from it ang what are you going to change wirh your next provider?

Still (in my personal list) exist few providers where i have service(s) from ~ 2016 with ZERO = 0 outages/unavailability till now and practically near to 100% uptime (- necessary reboots). They are also cheap (LE), they don't promise higher guaranteed availability than Contabo, but most of them have real 24/7 support (despite fact that are also cheap & LE) that respond in minutes, not days or ever no. So, personally, I still have few options to choose from (where i am satisfied) and where move things when i burned off on bad decisions from past...

What did it give me? The fact that in the case of contabo I will no longer be seduced by a cheap price and too i will no longer refer to any client who comes with it as something that I would recommend or consider a good decision (when someone from them will ask me "pls advice suitable cheap but good VPS in DE, i saw contabo - good option?" my answer and personal opinion/advice (base on own experiences) will be "no, i do not recommend it, go rather with Netcup, Hetzner or Inception VPS, i have better experiences there")
