Quick story.
When my daughter was very young I made her believe that there was real magic in the world. I would do this in various ways. By the time she was 15 she had it figured out her Dad was full of crap on this magic thing and decided to tell me so. We were living in the desert at the time. So I told her "If you could wish for anything you want to have right now what would it be." She looks at me, smirks, and says "Strawberries". I said "ok, strawberries it is." and sat down on the couch. She sat next to me and said "Well". I said "Just wait a few minutes and you'll get your strawberries." 15 minutes later a guy selling cartons of strawberries knocked on the door. My daughter is 38 years old now and still believes in magic. And when her dad calls out of the blue every once in a very great while and says he has a feeling that X is the right thing to do. She says "We were just talking about that, is this like the strawberries?"
These days my daughter is a RN-NP in a hospital trauma ICU and performs her own magic for people almost every day. She is a wonderful person that I admire greatly.
