I'm still using almalinux rockylinux, I will also mitigate CentOS to them soon. I only have one machine running Ubuntu pro now
CentOS is really nice, I’ve been starting to switch from Ubuntu to CentOS.
I'm also out of service, but still need to wait until presentations
No more CentOS bro, it's dead
hahahahah @default i think every one just dropped the pants.... Thank you
I mainly use it for my small servers where I’m just running a vpn, for my larger servers I still use ubuntu
let me trying something i only do in BF
hey @raindog308 Congratulations its a boy
Older os tend to use less memory.
If you're not happy with Ubuntu Pro why don't you try Debian 😉
What is the best os for webserver?
Please double my bandwidth. My order number is 6619630682
I much prefer Debian over Ubuntu
Depends on what you’re running and hosting
Tried fedora yet? i am using fedora as my main os.
always debian but never seen package manager faster then pacman which is of archlinux.
I feel indifferent to both, ubuntu has greater support for the stuff that I run so I am slightly biased towards it but other than that, they’re both really similar
I’ll be sure to try it out
ofcourse, it best fit my old laptop
had to use older kernel as newer don't support my hardware properly but still amazing!
For a laptop OS, I use KDE NEON, it's very stable and incredibly customizable.
kde doesn,t work well on older hardware, i like deepin and then kde for beauiful de
I always use CentOS or Almalinux for webserver, looking for some changes
I’ll try it out on my laptop too. Thanks!
I’ll look into that too, thanks!
never used alma, but centos is dead now, you shouldn't trust anything without support options for security of server.
I knew, that why I find some alternatives
