How can I filter the json, so that only certain fields remain.

the easiest way? convert it into array/list
aList = json.dumps("the long text above")
there are better ways, but let's go with simplest
create a new array
finalList = []
now go thru the old array and fetch what you need/ push to the new list
there are way way better and faster ways todo it (probably 1 liner)
