    I'm tempted! I got a 4GB KVM VPS from 06/28/2022 but didn't see until after order Windows not allowed, doh!

    Have kept it offline since collecting dust - cause I don't understand SSH/Linux and rely on a "Desktop" oops. Trying to run Firebot to keep a Twitch bot active 24/7.

    I have tried! Got a VPS with RackNerd already but every guide I've tried to follow text or YouTube based - have failed. SSH and commanding confuses my brain, unfortunately.

    The one i have from flash sale (last year, another company) is 2x xenon 4gb ram windows server whatever 64gb ssd and in europe, i have been using it actually every day but the 2 xenon cores are meh and 4gb ram is rough because windows

    The price is killer, might see if dustin is willing to get an creative offer, buuut the price i already pay is well... i'd say i might cover the electricity cost ๐Ÿ˜‚

    I tried linux desktop with rdp and it's always awful sadly

    Install the VPS with a Linux distro iso, like almalinux, rockylinux. During the installation l, just choose to install workstation and it will boot up with a GUI

    Windows need lots of resources, just for the OS. I would say stick with Linux when it comes to low resources VPS

    Hi @fazar -- great question! The way we combat abuse first starts at the fraud filtering level. Generally the people that are intending to create abuse, are the ones committing fraud. So by eliminating it at that level, helps a lot in itself. Outside of that, we believe that our physical host node designs, underlying virtualization technology (KVM), in addition to our expertise/staffing help combat this fairly well. For example, every host node of ours runs on minimum 8x SSD's in a LSI Hardware RAID-10 array - this provides not only redundancy, but awesome disk I/O performance - leaving plenty of breathing room in terms of available disk I/O.

    We also invest heavily in our support and operations teams. Not only do we offer very fast support response times to our customers, but in the backend, we implement 24x7 proactive monitoring across all host nodes to help ensure stability - and all of our staff on every shift are properly trained and equipped on our monitoring procedures. In the event there is an issue, we're on it pretty quickly :)
