Privacy friendly CDN alternative to CloudFlare?

Basically question in the title. Looking for alternative option (paid) for CloudFlare. Preferably based in EU. Any suggestions?

So far I have found only keyCDN, but not sure how good they are. Anyone have experience with them?

  • Define "privacy friendly".

iirc AWS does. StackPath does too.
Cloudflare too (technically if you sign up for their pro (or bigger) plans it's a paid CDN - although I do believe this isn't what you're looking for)

    Good question. For me it's:

    1. Based outside USA. Preferably EU/EAA.
    2. Open source
    3. Audited (security)
    4. Transparency reports
    5. Public-facing leadership or ownership

I'm afraid an Iranian ISP does not deserve to be privacy friendly.

  • Bunny.net are great.

To answer your orignal question - KeyCDN are also very good, I've used them in the past and only moved away to lower costs.

idk about privacy stuff, but if you want speed, Cloudfront is a good alternative. Their free plan is more than enough for a website with 100k~ monthly pageviews.

I had keyCDN for 3 month, their price is higher (for me it was 3 times more in average than bunnyCDN) than their competitors but if you have a lot of traffic (not a new project) then their prices goes down and becomes competitive.

  • None, they are all MITM making basic security like SSL useless.
Selfhost your own "CDN" on bare metal with FDE.

  • GCORE Provides free CDN upto 1TB - https://gcore.com/ (not sure if privacy friendly or not)
