HAPPY 9TH BIRTHDAY
HAPPY 9TH BIRTHDAY
What kind of CPU scores are you getting on 9 core xeons?
I get ~440 single and ~2900 multi on gb5

MOARRRRRRRRR
I'm late for the 9999 EPYC deals.
That's right in line with mine in San Jose, 783 single / 5921 multi.

HAPPY 9TH BIRTHDAY TO GREENCLOUD!
I'm getting vastly different results across locations:
9999 RO: Single 508 Multi 3010
9999 IL: Single 702 Multi 5706
Both were taken at the same time on Debian 11, identical setup.
I've also taken measurements several days before on the initial CentOS 8 system.
The scores were similar to above, with IL higher than RO.
Hence, this is not incidental.
i hate that cloudflare captcha, keeps me going nowhere even tho i solved it many times
And why should I complete the process, I was already logged in
For me Singapore, Singapore, and Singapore.
$20.00 Quarterly / $38.00 Semi-Annually/ $68.00 Annually/ $125.00 Biennially/ $180.00 Triennially.
happy birthday
so you have 14 sevices with them?
if u dont mind teling, may i know what ur gonna do with those?
Idling
For my websites only. I still have many in other providers. I have not utilized them all, some of them are idle
Mine is also RO with ~440/2900
Saw couple other RO yabs in earlier pages too and it seems RO has lower performance compared to others, guess node(s) are having higher load in general there.
So that makes a questions about how this works with the "fair-use" policy.
For example lets say TOS says you're allowed 25% usage 24/7. How does that reflect with performance of the cpu cores?
For example I have another server with exact same CPU at greencloud but it has 4 cores compared to 9. Yet I get almost same results from geekbench. 2.7k vs 2.9k.
Am I theoretically still allowed to do 2x the amount of CPU "usage or power" on 9core than on the 4 core ?
Not sure how this would work with the load we see even ? For example lets say I run an app that takes 50% of the cpu on that 4core VPS, would it show to me ~50% or ~25% on the 9 core given that the GB5 score is the same?
What are you doing with 14? 14 different projects or idling some of them?
Missed again
From Terms of Service:
30% Average Usage should be fine. You can burst up to 100% for 10 minutes, every 24 hours.
According to this policy:
Note:
See also 2022-Feb explanation.
I use 1 website per 1 VPS. 6 of them are idle now but I am going to transfer the websites to them when I cancelled the smaller servers.
