I'm not going to renew my HostHatch $30/yr 8GB in Los Angeles because I picked up a GreenCloud EPYCSJC. This EPYC is much nicer all around.
I previously ran openVZ7 when I needed to run different O/S because some times things need to run on certain O/S. Of course openvz7 is getting long in the tooth with that 3.1 kernel and goes EOM in January 2023.

Yes, but with the end of openvz7 I have moved to nested KVM so as to run the different O/S that I require and the HH VM does not have VM-x/AMD-V enabled like Green Cloud does. Besides I consider it a plus when a provider answers my rare ticket in under 5 minutes instead of 5 weeks.

And Last time i made some ticket in last 4 month (3 - 4 ticket, something about their migration to new panel issue, and already solved now) they reply it within 2- 4 days, so it has been improved i think, except it is Virmach
Out of topic my George DC VM from you is great so far , so the story i asked to moved my vm to Dallas KVM instead (have solusvm) from their Germany VMWare and then they approved it

... Now you might ask "If you need to run different O/S in production why not get multiple smaller VMs ?" Which is a really a great question. To which I would say.. " I can seldomly get just the right amount of disk/ram that I need for the application. With nested KVM I can make it just right for what is needed. Also taking snapshots is really the best way to backup in my mind.

I agree in Los Angeles the uptime has been pretty good. For me the only tickets that I sent HH that got answered in less then 4-5 weeks were transfer tickets. You may be right though so I'll go ahead and send in a ticket to see if they will enable VM-x and see how long it takes to get a yes answer.

I am glad you are enjoying, and using it. because it is a screaming deal. I see you were able to get IPv6 in Dallas that would have made a difference for me.
