You can do it in their control panel. It's just a few clicks. And you have to format the attached drive to use it.

I guess not. You can only attach it as a secondary drive because it's block storage. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Once you mount the disk, you will have path selected for disk, something like /mnt/slab
You can copy files over to this path.
