    Looks great, Thank you!

GCV's Ryzen and EPYC VPS are super fast. I have two VPS from "premium KVM sale" and they are rock-solid.

    What's the Ryzen's GB5 score?
Do you know if CPUs are fair-share like their birthday deals? It doesn't mention anything about it.

Ryzen GB5 is also ~1100 for single core and ~2200 for 2 cores. I have 2 cores.

I think CPU is fair share. But it's more than enough for my WP website. My CPU is always ~99.50% idle.

Almost no difference between them. Shouldn't Ryzen 5950x score be around 1500?

I take banning someone seriously. At this point, the on site security isn't matching enough for me to ban him. It's a difficult decision, but when needed, trust me I'll take quick action.

I think Europe will very soon become premium hosting location due to energy crisis. That's why not many deals for EU locations. :(

I think it depends on provider. They can tweak settings.

The general pattern (across many providers) seems to be –

Europe: high bandwidth, low storage, medium price.
North America: medium bandwidth, high storage, low price.
Asia: low bandwidth, medium storage, high price.

    New updates:
    - HK/SG all sold out.
    - 9999 EPYC plans were live and sold out in minutes. The next restock will be ~ 1 hour from now.

Some of the 9999 plans in the US will be restocked 1-2 more times today, tomorrow we will have other plans but not as much resources as the 9999 plans.

Is it possible to install windows by myself with my own license on 9999 plan?

It is not allowed to install Windows on our KVM VPS plans due to SPLA Agreement and performance issues.

But will you actively go through customers instances to find if someone is using their own Windows license or is it just soft "we don't allow/support it"?

We dont allow/support it, VPS might be suspended/terminated if doing so. Due to SPLA agreements with Microsoft, we need to report to them each month if every customer installed Windows with custom license. In addition, running both Windows & Linux on the same node will cause performance issues, it would be better to order our Windows VPS running on Hyper-V for better performance and they are already licensed.

So if someone has genuine license for Windows 11 or Windows Server that doesn't help, license needs to be directly from you?

It seems like SPLA agreement is very strict.

As far as I know, this is supposed to be the case with every provider that officially offers Windows Server. Some providers are less stringent than others, but Microsoft do get very angry if you violate their licensing rules

Yea, thats why Im seeking for 1-3year plan in EU right now.
Its last call, in 2023 prices will go up massively.

  • Well, it's not the Epyc deal, but I got my 9999 san jose, so I'll call that a win.

Yea I checked some places and it seems thats the case with VPSes. You can BYOL only to Bare metal/dedis

I think that many providers will likely put extra charge on dedicated IPv4 and set NAT.
They can gwnerate more money from these services or free up IPv4 block and rent it.

BuyShared already did it some time ago.

I think its better solution than price increase. I dont need unique IPv4 for websites behind CDN.
I need IPv4 for SSH tho, because my provider doesnt give me IPv6 amd I need to sit on VPN in order to access IPv6-only VPS. NAT is great solution.

Finally got one 9999 (SJC non-EPYC). Thanks for the great offer @NDTN!

I was a bit worried I'd miss out as PayPal was stuck on loading the 2FA screen for a few minutes:

Some people sneakily run BYOL, trial or pirated versions of Windows Server on VPS providers even though they're not supposed to, and just accept the risk that their VPS may be terminated.

Good luck, hopefully you can grab one too. I was up entirely too late last night trying, missed it a few times earlier today, and I've got work stuff tying me up for most of the rest of the day, so I had pretty much given up on getting one.
