self hosted calender
Hi
I need to show a calender for some events. Visitors of the site only need to see the calender and be able to export to their personal calenders. It also needs to be mobile-friendly
Currently using this:

Good things that we need to keep: great look, user-friendly and responsive/mobile friendly.
But problems are:
- Events need to be added via JS code, so only me can edit that, I would like normal non-techie manager to add events.
- No option for people (visitors) to export to any standard calendar format (ical, ics, etc)
Any free simple suggestions that may fit?

If it does not have to be self hosted, you could probably use a Google Calendar and make it public.

For exporting and Online calendars you will need CalDav/CardDav support.
Here are few free selfhost options available

There might be others as well on the market but it can give you a good start for looking for particular options
I wrote this easy to use calendar script couple of years ago, https://github.com/saudiqbal/PHP-SQLite-Calendar-Script it uses a sqlite database and it is mobile friendly.
No clue, but it sounds like a very typical request, so there must be a good wordpress plugin for this :P
