    Prive = Expensive. :)
Also, he is using hetzner datacenters, and tunelling his links through something.

We can provide it in Frankfurt, 2x10G LACP, Intel E-series (E-2336 or better, depending on your needs)

The price is a little bit high for such a setup, it'll be around 200-250€/m.

We can do that and accept crypto, and infact have some in stock but typically do not offer that low spec, and only 10G Unmetered.

We can do either 10x2.5" SSD or 4-6x HDD w/ NVMe.

I believe we have one of the following units remaining waiting for drives, delivery within 5 business days:

    • Ryzen 5900x
    • 128GB RAM
    • 256GB NVMe
    • 4x8TB HDD
    • 10G Unmetered
    • Location: Helsinki, Finland

    Price: 249€ per month
Any spec you want can be upgraded, but no downgrades.

Offer valid for 1 week from today, reference this thread when contacting sales.

Really really tempting, but I need it asap, do you have anything for instant delivery?

Everything else is in production, or further down the assembly line. This node tho, only requires putting in the HDDs and OS install. Can't put in the drives remotely sorry.

Got SSD models similar too, fully furnished and tested, but not yet racked as well.

All of our higher end models tend to sold the moment we get them online, our DC is quite small so we have just begun to build second one to have plenty of stock in a year or so.

E series spans from 8th gen (2018) to 11th gen (2021)... Do you have a specific requirement or is any E series OK? What about W series, Xeon Gold/Platinum, etc?

I thought e-series was any from this list? (I'm not too tech savvy when it comes to Intel CPUs, I might have used the wrong words)

    https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/series/134861/intel-xeon-e-processor.html

But basically the successors of E3?

W, gold and plat are way overkill for my use. A high frequency 4 core should be fine, though, 6 cores to have a bit more breathing room.

Yeah. Those processors span a few generations though. Here's a better list that includes release dates: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/details/processors/xeon/e/products.html

In general, newer processors will be faster than older processors even if the clock rate is slightly lower, due to improvements in cache size, pipelining, branch prediction, etc. (eg the latest 2.4Ghz processor is likely going to be faster than a 2.6-2.7 Ghz processor from 5 years ago)

    Hello @jahrinc

We can provide such options, and we accept crypto ;)

In case if you really need 10GBPS:

    10G (Ukraine)
    CPU : Dual E5-2670V3 (Cores 24 / Threads 48 / Processor Base Frequency 2.30 GHz)
    RAM : 32GB DDR4
    DRIVE : 250GB SSD + 2х8tb HDD
    PORT : 1×10 Gbps
BANDWIDTH : 10 Gbps Unlimited ( 3240 TB Per Month)
    900$

    10G (Netherlands)
    CPU : Dual E5-2670V3 (Cores 24 / Threads 48 / Processor Base Frequency 2.30 GHz)
    RAM : 128GB DDR4
    DRIVE : 250GB SSD + 2х10tb HDD
    PORT : 1×10 Gbps
BANDWIDTH : 10 Gbps Unlimited ( 3240 TB Per Month)
    1040$

If you don't need 10GBPS, then consider shared 1Gbps. The price will be quite different for 1Gbps.

    Here it is

  • What's the point of such great speeds with metered bandwidth? Theoretically you have 10G, but in practice you can't consistently go over 1% of that because you'll hit the 50 TB bandwidth cap. Heck, 50 TB is not that ridiculous but I see providers who advertise 1 or 2 TB bandwidth with 10G speed which calculates to about 13 minutes of traffic on full blast. Do they just copy and paste without doing the math or is there some use case I'm not aware of?

My use case its very specific. My current hetzner box connection drops (RDP) when using the full port leaving it useless for 1-2 hours while I upload what I need to upload.

    Marketing lol

Personally I dont like this as well

And if you ask me for a offer with 10Gbit port bellow 1gbit commit or 330TB I try to deny it always, trying selling you something else or will rate-limit it so you can't fuck me.
Makes no sense for me with just a few TB

But I guess most are rate limit at this traffic Level or have some limitation :)

    So if its a true 24x7 10Gbit is a other question ;)

Can also be a 10gbit port on a switch with 10Gbit uplink  having Many neigbours sharing that 10gbit

You may need high speed occasionally, but not sustained. Naïve example: People visit your website only during weekend when uploading something specific and all download at once, but once it is done, no one looks at your site for the rest of the month. Another example: having 10gbps port for the weekly backups will avoid your server being when serving people during the backup process.

Are you sure this is not some config issue?

  • PulsedMediaPulsedMedia Member, Patron Provider

@jahrinc i guess you still haven't found the server you need?

we have 2x 10G dedis from last week's batch remaining ready for immediate delivery. Both are E5-2620 6c/12t, 128G Ram, 12x10TB SAS, just the OS SSD sizes vary. OS 2x80G -> 249€ a month, 2x525G -> 299€ a month.

email our sales to set the order up.

  • @afn said: Are you sure this is not some config issue?

    >
100% sure, the port is fully utilized when uploading and rdp becomes inaccessible until its done uploading.

@PulsedMedia said: i guess you still haven't found the server you need?

Found one, thank you though! Will keep this on mind as I will need more in a few weeks or month or so.

Diversification is a good idea often :)

We have sold more 10G dedis in the past few weeks than the 6months prior :) Funny how that goes, you got a bunch of dedis looking for end use, and all of sudden demand appears :D Tho some were also custom orders
