What about after the process ?
SSD performance might eventually degenerate over time as more and more of cells becomes invalid
Since SSD have limited amount of total write cycles
For HDD no such effect should occur
Also, use docker containers for development? Having to reinstall every time you want a fresh environment must be a PITA.
Maybe the recording of the disc was affected, it wears out. In theory, this is all that reinstallation involves. Most likely, you need to look for the cause in another.
