made a duplicate order in OVH against automatic renewal

    Much easier here as reply are slow from OVH even the issue with their system and nothing to do with customer VM. To OP: Open ticket and call them up - don’t select the technical support.

    If you have not paid for it, simply leave it, nothing to do there.

    never leave unpaid invoices without written confirmation thats its oky.
    some providers have unexpected bugs in the billing systems that can screw you. in the anus.

  • Never hurts to call them but if its an automatic renewal order, it will go into your debt account if you don't pay it. A manual payment order that you created yourself, can be left unpaid, and it will usually expire after a certain number of days.

    i have paid the autorenewal and manual renewal . now i want refund of the manual one since automatic one was done. is it possible?

    I call them but they are like i need to pay all orders even manual ones which is weird never happen since 2016 i think now OVH has change some billing policy making us in a way that no one wants. anyways i think since autorenewal has been paid now so the other manual payment for same server can be refunded back.

    They are closed now so i have to wait until Monday to even request for this. Email has been done ticket has been update.

    You are not compelled to pay manual orders. Obviously if you don't pay the manual order, the due date wont be extended and the service may get deleted. From my experience, I've found it extremely hard to get a refund for a service that I paid for manually or automatically. You could really grind their ass and you may get lucky with a refund to credit. At the end of the day it is down to the mood of the agent, they can refund anything they want at their own discretion, but on paper once an order is paid, you can't get a refund. If you paid twice for the same service, it should've been extended by 2 months now.
