Besides OVH, which hosts provide decent DDoS protection down under?

    Tried them. Had to move away as we got DDoS'd and then ransomed, only lasted an hour luckily.

    OVH's protection might as well be a joke, anyway, but have you tried https://www.digitalpacific.com.au/vps/ or https://dreamithost.com.au/vps, perhaps? Definitely would not recommend RansomIT, they are scamming you in terms of transfer caps.

    DreamIT use RansomIT too. Can't comment on the transfer caps.

    So if understand you well @Gravely you are looking for a company that doesn't use Host Universal Pty?

    has RansomIT, QuantumCore(GoHosting),DreamIT, ShockHosting... all use them

    I don't dislike their network, it has come along way. Just terrible at preventing DDoS attacks.

    Multiple 4 australia locations and 1 new zealand location.

    Or you could go directly with GSL via their daughter company https://godedicated.com/

    Streamlineservers uses GSL colocation.

    We use Linode Australia for our shared hosting, we have been protected well. VPS i think directly have good DDoS

    Obviously not specialized in Anti-DDoS, but comparing the "developer clouds" - I'd they they're the best. Included and decent.

    Yeah, they use Corero too from memory. Just can't get past their bloody CPU speeds, complete garbage.
