Rare/exotic location hence won't be cheap.
May I ask why? Since there are many cheap and decent options in Brazil and Mexico.
Latency should be quite good. Some so called "exotic" countries have very limited hosting
options available, and that's why most people tend to use regional "hubs" for such tasks.
Such as Singapore as example, which serves quite a lot of asian countries as a hub.
IC, thanks. Ill look into those.
Yes you may What if I point to Argentinian prices on Steam store
Oh, that. Then look no further, just get a VPN with Argentina server available.
A good and cheap option would be Windscribe. You could also forward ports, so
if you really want you can make clients connect to server A, while exiting over VPN
in AR location. I did it with a different VPN provider and it works great.

Thanks, I'll look into Windscripe. Would be cool to have a VPS where I could actually run Steam though
Would highly recommend IPXON https://www.ipxon.com/en-gl/vps-servers?reg=BUE
IPXON is actually the DC where Windscribe has it's AR server.
@pos you could still run your steam client anywhere, but route the
traffic over VPN. I might write a guide about how to do it, if there will
be some popular demand. For me it's a pretty simple setup.
I'm interested as well.

IC, well. I should be able to figure it out. But a guide would be awesome!
Hmm, stating at $10 a month Well, maybe an option.
FDC's geoip won't always match public DB's, take that in account.
Most likely your Argentina server will be geolocated in US for Steam.
There is another option https://donweb.com/en-us/hosting-cloud-servers-vps
i tested before for wireguard tunnel and works very well
If you want grey market Steam keys I'd start by checking https://cheapdigitaldownload.com/ before you use VPNs. Pretty much everything listed on this site is global, rather than geolocked like Argentinian keys likely are.
IC, so it wouldn't work?
Seems it could work. One of those whatsmyip sites reported the VPN as being in US. Steam however correctly suggested/came up with Argentina.
Thanks! They start at $5 a month.
