Get a Citi credit card, they let you create virtual cards with custom daily limits based off of your real credit card. In the US, at least.
Do, Vultr, linode all have 60 days free trial credit offer.

TLDR: Most of the time you wont be able to utilize $100 as DO places restrictions how many droplets you can create.
If you have any old prepaid visa cards you got as a gift or for any other reason, those are usually accepted.
Could also use Revolut disposable CCs I guess?

in seriousness @PineappleBox and @Ympker , some providers do not allow prepaid/virtual cards, no idea if the work with DO.
