For me too, timing out both locally and via JP proxy

edit: Up but very slow a minute ago and now loading normally.

  • raviravi Member

Its loading at my end but little slow.

My VPS is also loading slow.

  • It's loading fast and fine for me

  • raindog308raindog308 Administrator, Veteran

    It works for me.

Wasn't there javascript falling snow at one point, @Francisco? Or were they falling pony heads? Or just a stray bit of pharmaceuticals flashing me back to something that never was?

  • I have multiple servers. Some of them are working fine, some don't. For me, New York and Luxemburg is working. Las Vegas is down.
Also their websites at buyvm.net didn't work until recently. Now they're back online.

Sorry, been a bit of a crapshoot.

We're doing a major router change out and a BW upgrade so its been a bit rough :) Lots of things moving about and it's only me here.

    Almost there.

Well, we warned you that these low-price one-man-band shops are unsustainable.

  • update: doesn't work now, buyshared seems to be down too

It will be for a bit longer, just waiting on the go ahead for the optic swap at hurricane. Probably another 10 - 20 minutes.

We're moving from 40GBit->100Gbit. Doing this on the MX480 wasn't financially smart given the linecards are like $20k each or something.

We opt'd instead to do an MX204 + a nice cisco switch to act as a port expander. We've been busy moving ports between the units and some old crusty configs from our OVZ days were still kicking around so I had to deal with scrubbing that.

I think that isn't the problem he can work with small team and pay them better.

Is very clear that less hours of work and better payments to the employeers = better work.

Why we need to be and have a tons of tons of employeers? No need. That is more waste of money.

If @Francisco focus in quality in Support like Sales and Support and Network and Hardware everything will run smoothly and fine.

BuyVM is doing great in those all years.

I was joking. BuyVM's been around for...10 years? Something like that.

I don't think you quite get the extent of the upgrade we're doing :) It's not a easy drop in. We have to have optics changed on our providers side, reconfigure all of our switches, pull out a heavy ass MX480, add a new router, switching, etc.

Staff size only goes so far, we'd be overtop of eachother.

I'm new to the 'cisco' world so I ran into some hitches I didn't on other setups.

I now know for future setups.

MX204 provides an amazing value for its price indeed. Wait times are horrible, though.

May I ask in which region you are upgrading??

The immediate is Vegas, but NY & LU will get moved up to 200Gbit total capacity each within the next 60 days.

The goal is to be around 600 - 700Gbit global capacity by October.

There's another pallet of gear including 900T worth of Slabs heading to LUX in the coming couple weeks.

We push 15gbit or something in TOR alone, it’ll only go up from here.

I assume 100% of our slabs are pure porn unless proven otherwise.

To me, that seems like you're saying you are knowingly hosting a large quantity of "porn" on TOR (which is notorious for CSAM) alone with the expectation for that to increase.

Fuck off. Not just because you don't know the difference between hosting and transporting, that deserves a "fuck off, you moron" on its own.

The porn thing is an inside joke, it’s literally mentioned in the description field of slabs.
