Webhosting24 is one of the best options for the SG location at normal pricing. GreenCloud had some pre-order deals in SG weeks ago where you could get 4 GB RAM 2 CPUs 35 GB SSD for $25/year but they sold out almost instantly.
GreenCloudVPS in Leaseweb Singapore
1 core Xeon Gold
1 GB RAM
30 GB NVMe
1 IPv4 and /112 IPv6
1 TB monthly bandwidth
$20/year
It shows up sometimes on https://greenkvm.com
Budget will not be breached
I don't have any luck for GreenCloud pre-order
I see there SGKVMStorageX-1 have storage 100GB HDD with 500 GB Bandwidth for 25$ but didnt know that reset every month or not and chat sales is offline now. Maybe I will checking it later when sales online.
Spec requirements will not be reduced.
Bandwidth will be re set every month
IPv4 will be static, but...
SSH port will be $25
try this

Wow, it's really cheap for expensive asian network.
Replied on wrong post, sorry!
lemme know if you put your bet on the table.
I added it to my shopping list and waiting for the next promotion.
Expensive network?
No.
It's Leaseweb volume network, which lacks direct route to China Telecom and China Unicom.
I assume it can serve India and western Australia reasonably well, but I don't have measurements data.
Don't see this offer now
You need to do more burpees to increase your muscle size.
When November comes around, you would have bigger muscles.
Use your muscles to squeeze the keyboard, which would make this offer appear.
I don't need direct route to China, because my website is currently hosted in China. It provides very good network quality for Chinese visitors, but poor to international visitors.
So I'm looking for an affordable Asia VPS to serve international visitors.
GreenCloud's price is good, $20 is the daily income for most Chinese people.
If you want to serve international readers, pick Los Angeles or New York, instead of Singapore.
Singapore is not good for Europe.
For this particular server, I feel laggy when accessing SSH from Washington DC region.

In 2009, my first job in Shanghai China pays just over $20 per day, pre tax.
I suppose it's higher now, if you ignore the recent increase of dollar valuation.
I actually agree with you there, US is a better option.
If you are an IT practitioner with a good degree and live in Shanghai, you can certainly get a higher salary. But China is a country of 1.4 billion people, most of whom were born before 1980 and have no higher education, and it's difficult for them to find a good job.
Even in Shanghai, there are many young people whose disposable income does not exceed $20 per day after deducting rent, meals and taxes.
this is very tough considering Shanghai cost of living should be pretty high?
