Even you said yourself, the facts aren't clear about this. Logic would lead you to conclude that you can't make a conclusion with unclear facts.

@jar in all fairness to you, I think I would feel the same way you feel if what he said was truthful (maybe this case will be able to confirm that or show if this is not the case)
All it would take is for Dustin to say 'I was kidding' or 'I was obviously being sarcastic' to make most of us not jump to conclusions before the case is brought to court (assuming the case even links to what we are interested in finding out) BUT maybe because it's a legal thing he cannot speak about it whether right or wrong. Obviously I think some of us won't see Dustin as the purple daddy in the same sight if he did something wrong but if he's found not guilty of wrong doing - it would probably seal purple daddy as the king of LET - even over John himself.
