Free Datacenter Courses/Certification from Schneider Electric

Looks interesting, but I have no experience. They offer certification in data center and power management. Free worldwide and available in 14 languages.

Glancing at the DC content, it looks beginner (it's for an "associate" certification) but it's free and CPD-certified, so...sharing here.

  • The exam itself is $250 though.

Are they charging the fee for their courses through the exam?

Though that's kind of a great business model.

Learning is always free, but for a job it will require a certification. I rather go with the free one, no exams.

A certificate without some form of formal assessment and quality assurance isn’t worth the paper it’s printed on. Free access to learning resources is essentially equivalent for those who don’t require an accredited qualification.
