thanks @joodle!
No problem
Suggestions/idea's are welcome!
KVM ISO Pack has been added!
You can view/download this pack right here: http://vmtemplate.net/packs.php
Why do you need to implement MD5 check at all? Just do it once on adding the template, and use that value from the DB.
The additional php page for just viewing the MD5 seems unnecessary. Why not just add the code to javascript, and create a row on the fly?
Because manually checking + adding takes more time
Tried that, but it just took ages to load the website
What I meant was..cache the result into a db. But it seems you're doing that already?
Generating the javascript shouldnt make your pages slow. The values should already be loaded into hidden input fields/variables. When you click the MD5 button, you just 'create' input fields, on the user's browser. It saves you from reloading a page from your server.
Not doing that, but it's a nice idea. Will try that
Providing download costs a hell amount of bandwidth. You may need to seek sponsership or whatever.
I'm always open for offers from people who would like to provide me with a mirror
I was already thinking of selecting from which mirror/location you would like to download the template/iso from

Here's a new OpenVZ template I made: debian-7.0-i386-nmp
( Edit: direct download link removed. It's available on joodle's site: http://vmtemplate.net/ )
It's built on the minimal Debian 7 template from OpenVZ.org and adds:
Here's a test run:
Set IP to 192.168.0.112 and a few other parameters, then from the workstation:
It's not intended to be ultra-lowend, but works nice on 128MB
@sleddog I will check it out then after looking at it post it tomorrow.
Would you like credit as Sleddog or as another name?
Thanks! 'sleddog' is fine
@sleddog understood, thanks for the contribution.
Very cool, Thanks joodle.
