Is LeastWeb US or EU or Asia good?

Seems very controversial. Some users claim that it is great. Some say they are charged too much for over use of bandwidth. Some were even sued by the LeaseWeb.
10 TB/m seems for both inbound and outbound. So outbound is about 5 TB. Not much actually. If DDOSed by hackers, easily pass the quota. Is LeaseWeb's DDOS protection basic plan good enough? Or Advanced DDOS protection plan should be bought?
How about your experience?

Their billing practices are shady. Support takes ages to respond.

VPS SSD speeds are below average last time I tried

edit: I used EU/US location only

Seems not as good as Hetzner.

  • How about LeaseWeb dedicated server offers? Better than Hetzner?

Hetzner's server hardware is much better for the same price.

    Long-time Leaseweb user here.

I have production site hosted on LSW SG, pretty solid, had more than 2 years+ uptime. Bandwidth is generous comparing to other provider.

Customer support is fast, but its work only on weekdays.

They routinely increase price each year, small amount, but still cheap for me.

Tried their US location but didn't satisfied.

Sued once due to a client late payment, paid the bill myself.

So yes, their SG location is prem.

    Yes

  • Leaseweb SG is rock solid. Been using their XL package since 2015. Recommended!
