I was using it, what a pity...
A depressed angry guy...
I sent an email to owner
Hope the site comes back soon.
Folks can use https://dnstools.ws meanwhile.
Tried mtr, with default settings, ended with
Sorry, an error occurred: Invalid worker: us-lv.
.Not a good start
@Daniel15
There's also @aveline's https://ping.sx/mtr.
No
IN
locationI also used mtr.sh regularly, I hope it returns.
That last location seems to be Zong. Are you from pakistan?
Yes last one is from Zong but I am not from Pakistan.
Oh no! I'll get that fixed. I must have missed it while getting rid of my BuyVM VPS. Manually picking a location should avoid that error.
Coming back soon hopefully!
Been waiting for a long time. Cheers.
I am missing hosts.cx (don't open it now; seems to redirect wherever) for website preview on different IP. Was way more convenient than editing Hosts file. Anyway, was good while it lasted.
Mtr.sh was also a great tool
You can use https://www.skipdns.link/
Will have a look, thanks!
This should be fixed now. I literally just had to change one letter 😛 https://github.com/Daniel15/dnstools/commit/7bfe4db7c178a6618497c9aae03fed3a415bd761
Give https://dnstools.ws/ a try and let me know if anything you'd like is missing! Feel free to email me or open a Github issue. The code is open-source too: https://github.com/Daniel15/dnstools
@Fusl - mtr.sh will be back?
I'm working on similar tool. Hopefully beta release in a week!
A similar looking fork is available mtr.pt
https://mtr.tools by @Zappie
pm me if you got smth
Working on something similar as well https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/179348/call-for-alpha-testers-a-new-global-network-testing-service-open-source#latest
It should be back now!
ping.pe should be mentioned. Great tool and looks nice.
It even does screenshots for ping/mtr if you need them linked in a ticket.
Example: https://dig.ping.pe/esecuredata.com:A:8.8.8.8
The dig tool looks like the DNS lookup tool on https://dnstools.ws/ except slower and it seems to require every node to respond before showing results, whereas DNSTools will stream them in as they arrive.
Screenshots are an interesting idea though! I like the charts in their ping tool too - I've been wanting to add something similar to dnstools for years.
Wow, that' a recent development. It wasn't like that 2 weeks ago when I used. I wonder if the guy is trying to optimize the loads
ping.pe gave me half of the results, then the other half a couple seconds later. So it's streaming but not particularly rapidly.
