The Change IP and (paid) Migration buttons seem to be back again.
I'm on TYOC029 with a network problem, so I tried switching the IP and it ended up in the same subnet with just a different number. The network problem hasn't been fixed yet.
Anyone tried the Ryzen fix IP button?
Morality cannot kidnap me as long as I have no morals.
I don't see that one at all. But I have another button which looks promising:

....back without Tokyo location
Dustin should've copyrighted that!
i tried "ryzen fix ip" to get a narrower subnet and thinking it will be good for server's overall networking, it changed the ip but didnt changed the additional ips
i want my ips sequential
btw i sent you(@VirMach) a message about additional ips a few days ago
@VirMach On my side it shows a successful payment of $3 ($2.18 + account balance) to migrate to LA, but Invoice #1448358 still shows unpaid. Payment slip I have replied to Ticket #536368. What should I do now?
waiting for frankfurt location migrattion
@VirMach View Ticket #396270 plz
@VirMach
please handle the ticket #671838.
My vps is offline after migrate LA at 30 May.And Soheil G. said he will re-create it. But my service is terminated at 1 June.The last time Soheil G. replied to my ticket was 15 days ago.
Welcome to the low end help desk,
Chill out, mates
@VirMach
Ticket open for going on 10 days without a response, this is 1/3 of the billing period that I already paid for.
What happened on the 11th and 12th ? Were you sick ?
Thanks for preventing me from going into a 10 minute rage induced coma. Just ended up laughing instead.
Incoming 200 tickets for "my double bandwidth button isn't functioning properly" or probably something along the lines of "please activate double no input appear" created in billing, technical, general, and priority department at the same time.
Sorry, not sorry. 😘
That was weekend, he gave VirMach a breather for a weekend.
But personally I love mentioning ticket in a ticket, very helpful and useful.
@keterjelly
You are aware that bumping ticket most of the times put you at the end of queue... again and again and it's working against you? Also posting here won't help - just ask for refund at this point.
and I really hope you have chosen location 'in stock' not something marked as 'Pending'/'Soon' or anything like that
Maybe Japan? xD
hi virmach,
I maybe miss some information in this thread.
I want to know will you keep Chicago location.
I have some servers in this location.
Thank you.
Double ticket queue finally!
Another funny story about Double Bandwidth:
There was some MJJ bought the VPS from a NERD provider, got the double bandwidth. And they always reached the bandwidth limit for several months.
https://hostloc.com/thread-659900-1-1.html
https://hostloc.com/thread-662949-2-1.html
In time, they got refunded and ware kicked out.
So if there were users always reach bandwidth limit, will you kick them out @VirMach ?
As JabJab said, once you reply to the ticket, it will move to the end of the queue automatically. Assume they left some tickets to the next day and you reply the ticket everyday as well, you'll never get an answer.
Have hit max bandwidth a few times on some VMs before moving the workload to a dedi (around 30TB), so far Virmach hasn't taken me out back and shot me. I do generally try to keep my traffic low though.
We've never kicked anyone off, ever, just because they use a lot. There are a very few number of people (a couple dozen) that use bandwidth consistently to the max every month. And it can be 10TB, 20TB. It's fine as long as it doesn't negatively affect people. There's definitely a good few hundred people we "lose" money on if we start doing the math but it all averages out.
We only run into problems when the high bandwidth usage is combined with mismanagement, aka, the VM is hacked and sending out attacks or used for high PPS traffic exchange with thousands of connections at once.
Once in a while we notice it bouncing around for a while and step in and do it sooner in the queue. I remember doing two such tickets recently with like 10-20 replies on them. It could've been the guy complaining, it could've been someone else.
Not likely right now but we'll try to at least get a quarter cabinet for those who really want it. This location will be deployed last. ETA let's be cautious and say September.
