I am a millenial too, and I voted. I don't know if I should care that much to start asking myself about feelings of guilt fostered within PMS.

As member, I am not interested in the survey for admins or their profits. Admins may enjoy their BilohCoin. I am interested in the survey for myself, to see what other members think and what is their opinion - this is what matters the most.

This is something that could be used to the advantage to an enterprising group of users who might wish to affect change on LET.
IMO JB doesn’t really have a scooby about what to do with LET in practical terms. He knows what he wants (more page views, more registrations) but doesn’t know how to get there. He is definitely not stupid however, and if said enterprising group of members were to come up with a reasonable set of activities that would increase views and registrations, I suspect he would likely support them, as he is basically getting someone to put in the effort for free.

Meanwhile... this is LowEndTalk. I already dare to guess how some providers would be proud to host LET on a server, even for free. There is no need for profits, because low-end somewhat implies non-profit and passion for computers and consumers. But I guess thinking like this might be too much cognitive effort for you.
When a community is used for profits, all members are just instruments used to achieve the monthly goals of leaders. Stop for a second and think about each member's value now (in money). See how disgusting it all becomes? And it's not even about "me" or "you", it's about the image as a whole, because we're all together in this. This is why a survey might actually be needed, for us, the members.
